E-Discovery & Litigation Services

Stria’s Electronic discovery (or “E-discovery”) services are used by criminal and civil litigators. These services are designed to give litigators expedient access to meaningful information that is born digital and usually needs to be processed and aggregated for meaningful evaluation.

The typical steps of an E-Discovery project include but are not limited to:

    1. Stria’s project manager discusses project with counsel or support staff (usually via phone or Email)
    2. Information is harvested from source computers or systems by Stria’s IT team
    3. Stria extracts and unitizes data into documents
    4. Files are coded or tagged
    5. Bates numbers are applied
    6. Files are imported into litigation support or trial management system (Summation, WorkSite, Sanction, etc.)

Typical formats processed by Stria include:

  • E-mail (including PST files)
  • Instant messaging chats
  • Microsoft Office files
  • Accounting databases
